Old Business:
Nominations and elections for new board members were held today. The following Cursillo Members were elected to the following
positions:
Shirley Nagle for Lay Director
John Frost for Post-Cursillo Coordinator and Webmaster
Mike Krakowiak for Pre-Cursillo Coordinator
Phyllis Gogue reelected for Outside Palanca Coordinator

Congratulations go out to the newly elected board members. We still need to appoint an Assistant Lay Director to finish out the
current term which will be one year. If there is anyone interested in the position, please notify Linda Abrams or Shirley Nagle.

Our next Ultreya will be March 5, 2006 at the 58th Street Chapel on Fort Hood.

Orie Sanchez mentioned buying kitchen mats for the center at Elk. This will help the kitchen members from slipping on the wet
floor and help their tired feet. The board has authorized the buying of five mats with funds from donations and Nyrma will go with
Cynthia to purchase the mats at Sam's Club.

Shirley will be talking to Liz at Elk about the upcoming weekends and the use of her trailer house for the Deacon and Priest.

John will be looking into getting a phone service base for the Coordinators to use on the weekends. Phone calls will easier to make
and receive for the staff members. The women's weekend is 4-7 May 2006 and the men's weekend is 8-11 June 2006. Father
Chuck will be doing both weekends and Father Minch said he would be available to help out if needed, but a priest is needed for
Thursday's team mass.

Six weeks before the weekend, the Pre-cursillo coordinator needs to know how many candidates will need transportation to Elk.
On the weekend closings we need extra help in cleaning the center, kitchen, chapel and attending to the small details that need to
be done so everyone can leave the center in a timely manner. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cleaning up details will be
done by Greg and Phyllis and submitted to the board for approval.

New Business:
Greg stated that Father Minch, the Catholic Chaplain at Fort Hood, is very pleased with the way he and Cynthia have been handling
the Cursillo funds and breaking down the costs, and breaking down the staff and candidate lists into categories of civilians, active
duty military, military dependent, and military retiree. Greg sent Father Minch a copy of all supplies that are used on the weekends
including the shipping and handling charges. Father Minch has asked the community for help in defraying the Chaplains Fund costs
for the Cursillo weekends. We need to accept some of the expenditures for our own weekends and not expect the Chaplains fund
to cover all of the expenditures. Money received from the Chaplains fund which is not needed is being returned to the Chaplains
fund.

We are spending more than the allotted allowance on our food purchases. Our limit for food should be $400.00 and then look to the
community for food donations.

Raising the amount of money the staff members contributed to the weekend was discussed as was a $25.00 non-refundable
commitment fee from each candidate to be paid when the application is submitted. A change in the by-laws policy on candidate
application fees will need to be addressed by the board.

Financial Secretary submitted her monthly report. There were no questions about the report.

Deacon Fred closed the meeting with a prayer at 5:10 pm.
