IV.        Old Business:  Cynthia Neve presented a letter to be sent to parishes for donation to Cursillo.

this right now.  Board agreed and was tabled.  A thank you letter will be sent to individuals who gave
generously to our fund.

Elk Repairs:  62rd Engineer battalion is being deployed to Iraq. Had to cancel repairs to driveway and
bridge at entrance to the retreat center.

Since Cursillo is using the Tax ID# from St. Paul with Father Richard’s approval, Cynthia Neve requested
to have an authorization letter by him to be put in the treasurer’s book.  Phyllis Gogue said she would
take care of it.  Letter will also be written for future use to thank businesses who donate to our Cursillo
Movement.

Pilgrim Guide Books:  John Frost will speak with Karin Kennedy from Holy Family to order 200 books.  No
other items were needed at the present time.

guidance on cutting down expenses.  She will also be willing to speak with the Men’s Kitchen Leader as
soon as she knows who will be chosen.

Elections:  Shirley Nagle asked John Frost to please send out the reminder to the community to be
asking people if they will run for the opening positions.  He will also include which ones on his email.
Phyllis Gogue suggested to have election forms to submit nominations.

Appointment of new Board President:  Deacon Jones reminded the board of seeking new President.
Several names were suggested.

V.        Committee Reports:
a.        Lay Director: Shirley welcome back Mike Krakowiak from his assignment from Iraq.

b.        Assistant Lay Director:  Nyrma had the  inventory after the men’s weekend. Now she will
consolidate with the original inventory done in November, 2007 and give a copy to kitchen leader for the
women’s weekend after their first meeting on Jan. 13, 2008.  Orie Sanchez volunteered  to go to the
retreat center  with her in February to complete the inventory.

Nyrma also volunteered to buy the Napkins, paper plates, cups, picnic packs, and plastic trash bags for
the Epiphany Party.  Cursillo fund will reimburse her.

c.        Secretary:  Orie Sanchez said she was happy to be back.  Nothing to report.

f.        Post-Cursillo Coordinator:  John Frost reported that everything seems to be in place for the
Epiphany Party.  Went over the program with the board.  He will need some help on Saturday after 10am
and for the board to be at the social hall by 2:00 pm  on Sunday.  Orie Sanchez volunteered to help him
with the scripts in case he is not available at 3PM to start the event.  He suggested that 50 pieces of
chicken should be bought to insure that we had enough meat.  Cynthia Neve volunteer to take care of it
and Cursillo will pay for it.

keys which he will give to the new Coordinator-Charl Munsey.  He also said that if John Frost-Men’s
Coordinator, choosing to have his meetings  at 58th Street, he will give him a set also.

Father John Gabriel is the only priest left.  Father Nielsen is being deployed to Iraq.  Father Gus will be
back, but at present time he is on leave and will probably deploy to Iraq in the Summer.

The next board of Directors Meeting will be held at 6 PM on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the conference
room of Holy Family Parish in Copperas Cove.
